Pathway currently has an opening for a caring individual who desires to make a difference in the lives of young adults and adolescents. Working alongside our therapists and instructional aides as part of a collaborative team, the Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing and implementing all aspects of each student’s educational goals and objectives according to their IEP. Included in this is writing progress reports, maintaining documentation, writing and maintaining IEP’s, writing lesson plans and participating in the team meeting process.
Applicant must be positive, energetic, flexible, and a team player that can complement Pathway’s amazing culture. Having patience, strong communications skills and a good sense of humor are also highly recommended to be successful in this role. This is a full-time, 10-month (school year) position. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:45 am – 4:00 pm.
