Teaching Assistant: Permanent

Hours: 32–35 hours per week (term time, including INSET days) over 5 days.

Paid Weeks: Term time including INSET Day (45.05 paid weeks).

Salary Scale: Grade 5–6, points 5–9 depending on experience. Salary range for 35 hours per week: £20,909 – £22,275 PA (Pay Award Pending). Progression route to Senior Teaching Assistant at Grade 7 possible.

Compass Learning Centre will appoint two enthusiastic, energetic Teaching Assistants starting 1 September 2026 to support students across Key Stage 3 and 4, including those with complex needs and challenging behaviour. The role involves working alongside teachers and other education professionals, supporting groups of children and individuals, and contributing to a positive behaviour management ethos.
