Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEMH) – Full-Time
Location: Eccles

The Role
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
- Support the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Promote emotional regulation, social skills, and engagement in learning
- Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (school, youth work, care, or similar)
- Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilience
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approachA genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
