Overview
Rossendale School is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support our Education team across all key stages. The role involves working alongside class teachers, assisting pupils with work and behaviour, and establishing positive relationships with students.
Key Information
The school caters for pupils who are autistic and academically able, aged 7–18. The role covers all key stages, with key stages 4 and 5 based at the main school site and key stages 2 and 5 at the campus in the local community.
Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher with teaching support and behaviour management.
- Respond to individual pupil needs and uphold the school's philosophy and policies regarding special educational needs.
- Help pupils achieve their academic potential across the curriculum.
