Role Summary
The Simulation Technical Leader supports the Project Engineer in all 3D process simulation activities, coordinates 2D requirements and technical documentation, and leads mechanical design efforts. The role covers robotic cells, welding, assembly, conveyance, and transfer systems, managing projects from quotation through commissioning while guiding engineering teams and resources.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret customer and plant specifications; apply Comau mechanical design standards. Plan, execute, and oversee robotic cell and equipment design and development. Estimate labor and content for proposals and engineering changes. Lead, delegate, and manage mechanical design teams and project resources. Develop manpower plans, timelines, and cost projections; report status to Project Engineer. Coordinate design reviews, approvals, and cross‑functional communication.
