About the role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist to join our Performance and Optimisation team within the Consumer Networks function based in Sydney. This role plays a critical part in optimisation and performance management of Optus’ 4G and 5G Mobile Radio Access Network, with a strong focus on customer experience and network performance outcomes.
As a senior technical contributor, you will lead complex optimisation initiatives, introduce new technologies and act as a subject matter expert (SME) across state and national stakeholders.
Your day to day will consist of
Travelling to sites

Managing and improving state-level 4G/5G network performance, ensuring key radio KPIs are achieved

Owning network performance analysis, including identification of worst-performing cells and implementation of optimisation solutions
