Job Description
Job Overview
The Technical Specialist, Energy Management, provides energy management services to support the delivery of Client-Partner real property projects and programs. The incumbent provides advice, recommendations and technical guidance in areas such as Smart Building technology and greenhouse gas reduction. They support net‑zero‑carbon planning, review design documents, complete energy modelling, lifecycle cost analyses, identify potential energy savings, and evaluate energy efficiency incentive programs.
Key Activities
- Complete complex energy management work such as inspections, audits, simulations, lifecycle cost calculations, gap analyses, feasibility studies.
- Prepare energy requirements for statements of work to meet Client-Partner requirements.
- Support measurement and verification of energy savings on projects and monitor energy performance.
- Monitor and manage site energy consumption and energy bills.
