Technician II

Technician II is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of outside plant infrastructure within the telecommunications and cable TV sectors, with a primary focus on cable laying. This role involves working outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions, working at heights or in confined spaces, and may require physical exertion, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. This role involves flexible hours that may be necessary to meet project deadlines or address emergencies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cable Laying and Infrastructure Installation. Lay and install hardline fiber optic cables, coaxial cables, copper cables, and other outside plant infrastructure components, adhering to project specifications and safety guidelines.
