Temperature Control Mechanic/HVAC

Your Opportunity:

This Casual HVAC Technician position reports to the Manager of Engineering Services, FME at the UAH. The role supports the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical systems within a large, complex acute-care healthcare environment encompassing approximately 650,000 m². The HVAC Technician performs required journeyperson-level duties installation, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of building air handling systems in accordance with applicable NBC, NFPA, IPC, ASHRAE standards, manufacturer specifications, and HSS/AHS standards and practices. Responsibilities include supporting essential and non-essential electrical infrastructure such as indoor air quality, infection prevention and control and life-safety within clinical and patient care areas.
