Pay and Hours

The Tesco colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you prefer fewer hours (down to a minimum of 12) we also have opportunities for this.

We schedule your contracted hours within the availability windows and provide three weeks’ notice of your shifts. We support flexibility and will consider applicants whose availability closely matches our advertised windows.
