Job Summary:
The Test and Systems Mechanical Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cost- effective test jigs and fixtures for products in mass production. Mechanical assemblies should guarantee the product performance according to specifications and within the desired level of quality and reliability. He or she will help the production in all of its mechanical needs and provide innovation to current manufacturing processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Takes part in the conceptualization and design of the test system (Hardware and Software)
Designs and develops test mechanical assemblies, including but not limited to, test jigs, test fixture, probe plates, etc.
Designs and develops process jigs and fixtures
Ensures that the test system, hardware modules are built according to provided test system and hardware module documentation and tester specification
Ensures that the mechanical design is easy to service by TSDE and produc...
