Howdens are currently seeking an experienced Tool Room Servicing Operator to join our team at our manufacturing site in Howden, East Yorkshire. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the service, repair, and manufacture of in‑house tooling, supporting our production operations with precision and expertise. If you have a background as a machine operator or servicing operator with tooling knowledge, we are keen to hear from you.
Shift: 6am to 4:30pm Monday to Wednesday, 6am to 4pm Thursday. OT required as and when necessary.
Salary: £51,085.84 per annum.
What You Will Be Doing
- Sharpening and manufacturing PCD tooling using Vollmer EDM machines
- Sharpening carbide circular saws using Vollmer Saw machines
- Cylindrical grinding and surface grinding both in house and purchased tooling
