Job OverviewPosition: Tooling Manager (Manufacturing AL&S team)Location: Cd.Juarez, Mex; Plant 1.Reports to: Plant Manager.ResponsibilitiesManage Tool Room staff and ensure compliance with plant safety regulations.Monitor department performance metrics (MTBF, MTTR, preventive maintenance compliance).
Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and keep KPI charts updated.Control departmental budget and coordinate with suppliers for mold repairs and critical parts.Maintain updated databases and lead weekly meetings to analyze mold performance issues.Implement improvement plans, update SQDCM dashboards, and ensure proper machine/equipment function.Prepare damage and improvement reports, coordinate training, and guarantee proper mold validation and release.Support smooth transition for new projects and keep standards for OES molds current.Ensure accurate recording, uphold department goals, and keep documentation current.Drive mold improvements for production efficiency without risking...
