Overview
Role: XTL Transport has been a trusted employer for mechanics and technicians and drivers for 40 years. We're searching for an experienced trailer technician at our Airdrie location.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow and maintain all safety measures according to company policies and procedures
- Carefully listen to Driver's feedback
- Conduct inspections and diagnose issues
- Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions
- Replace part and components as required
- Repair body damage
- Inspect, diagnose and repair trailer electrical systems, landing gear assemblies and suspension/brakes
- Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on the following:
- Coupling and hitching systems;
- tires
- hubs
- wheels and axles;
- heating and refrigeration systems ...
