Trainee Homeless Support Worker

PART TIME - FTC - 21hrs

To be part of a team that supports our clients, keeping them safe and helping them achieve their goals. To provide people with homes and specialist support so they feel more valued and secure, and ready to take the next steps.

Main Responsibilities

• To learn how to assess clients, develop support plans, and manage risks
• To learn how to support clients to maintain their wellbeing, paying close attention to safeguarding responsibilities, company policy and procedures
• To encourage client’s involvement in personal progression in the form of education, training, employment activity or volunteering
• To assist clients to maintain accommodation by encouraging payment of relevant charges
• To support clients to gain practical life skills
