Transport Manager role within a medium‑sized waste management, collection & recycling company operating in complex/high‑care environments across construction, energy, engineering and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for day‑to‑day transport operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance and strong commercial performance.
• Oversee driver management, including hands‑on management of approximately 30 drivers.
• Run the O Licence and maintain full compliance with transport legislation and operator requirements.
• Manage transport operations, including routing, planning and fleet utilisation to optimise vehicle performance, efficiency and downtime.
• Take ownership of cost control, KPIs and operational profitability.
