About the role
Reporting to the Processing Manager, the TSF Superintendent is responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), TSF capital projects, surface operations and site-wide water management.
Key responsibilities:
Implementing and managing a risk-based tailings and water management strategyLeading surveillance, inspections, TSF monitoring, reporting and governanceOverseeing tailings deposition, embankment construction, QA/QC and contractor performanceManaging budgets, consumables and operational readinessProviding technical direction to engineers, supervisors and surface operations teamsEnsuring compliance with legislation, design criteria and regulatory frameworksCollaborating with the Engineer of Record and internal stakeholders on medium and long-term TSF planning About you
