Job Summary

Come work as a Utilization Clinician (RN) with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) as part of the Nursing Administrative team at Sechelt Hospital in Sechelt, B.C.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff and leadership to identify site‑specific and system barriers to patient flow and assist in strategizing, developing, and implementing solutions to alleviate these barriers.
• Partner with site leadership, responsible for monitoring site‑specific Alternate Levels of Care (ALC) data reliability, ongoing ALC classification and education, and the development, integration, and spread of proven system‑efficiency innovations across the Health Services Delivery Area (HSDA).
• Serve as a resource to staff by consulting with direct care personnel on professional practice issues related to interprofessional care planning, problem solving, and workflow.
