Summary: The Validation Engineer will support transit engineering programs by planning, executing, and documenting validation activities across all project stages. This role ensures that systems, software, and integrated solutions meet stage-gate requirements, functional specifications, quality standards, and safety expectations prior to release and deployment in transit environments.
Responsibilities: Execute validation activities aligned to project lifecycle stages (concept, development, integration, qualification, and release). Validate systems against stage requirements, ensuring entry/exit criteria are met for each development phase. Perform system, subsystem, and component-level validation for software, hardware, and control systems. Support SIL, HIL, and lab-based testing for transit systems. Identify, log, track, and support resolution of defects and deviations identified during validation.
