We are looking for a highly motivated Band 3 Vascular Assessment Unit Assistant to join our team at Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Westmorland General Hospital. The role involves supporting the vascular nurse specialist team in the daily running of nurse‑led clinics and inpatient reviews. It combines administrative and clinical duties across 22.5 hours per week (3 days).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative duties in the daily running of nurse‑led vascular clinics.
• Manage telephone enquiries efficiently and courteously.
• Review patient records and data to ensure accuracy and update trust systems accordingly.
• Book, amend and cancel patient appointments for clinics and liaise with outpatient booking services.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day enquiries, referring to senior staff when necessary.
