Vehicle Maintenance Operative
- Department: Supply Chain and Operations (Non Driver or Operative Roles)
Salary: £45,099
Shift Pattern: 5 days a week, 45 hours per week. Primary shift 1200‑2130 with flexibility for 0300‑1230 and 1400‑2330 as required. 10% hourly uplift 1800‑2200, 20% uplift 2200‑0600.
Location: Warrington depot.
- Qualified HGV mechanic with DVSA compliance experience.
- Carry out on‑site vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Identify and advise supervisors of required additional work.
- Complete work promptly to reduce vehicle downtime.
- Work independently or as part of a team; strong communication skills required.
- Prioritise workload and coordinate with service providers, monitoring progress.
- Computer literate and comfortable using compliance software.
