Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary expert for virtual machine environments including VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or other virtualization platforms.
Design, implement, and optimize virtual machine infrastructure to meet business and operational requirements.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution for VM performance, connectivity, and availability issues.
Collaborate with cloud, networking, and storage teams to ensure seamless integration of VM solutions.
Develop and maintain VM deployment standards, policies, and best practices.
Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization for virtual environments.
Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical support to internal IT teams.
Stay up to date with emerging VM and virtualization technologies, and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.
Assist with disaster recovery planning, backups, and VM replication strategies.
