About the Role
As a Maintainer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our wagons safe, reliable and operational. Your tasks will include:
Performing preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs on wagonsResponding to breakdowns and assisting with recovery activitiesCarrying out heating, cutting and welding tasksOperating mobile plant, vehicles and lifting equipmentAssisting with fabrication and component replacementCollaborating with planners, supervisors and operations teamsThis is a physically active role requiring a strong focus on safety and the ability to work independently and in a team.
About You
Heavy industry trade background (highly regarded but not essential)Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamCurrent C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)Forklift/MR Licence (advantageous)
