Job Description

A waiter (or server) is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a restaurant or similar establishment. The main duties typically include:

• Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcoming guests, guiding them to their seats, and presenting menus.
• Taking Orders: Listening to customer requests, taking food and drink orders accurately, and communicating special requests to the kitchen.
• Serving Food and Drinks: Delivering food and beverages to customers in a timely manner.
• Upselling: Suggesting additional items or upgrades (e.g., desserts, specials) to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
