Role Overview
The role is for Wardrobe Assistants (14) and Senior Wardrobe Assistants (6) at the Lapland UK Live Site, Ascot. The department is divided into three sub‑departments: Group, Principals and Father Christmas. Each day 200 elves, 50 performers and 50 Father Christmas performers are dressed for a 1.5‑hour scripted performance followed by 1.5 hours of free time.
Wardrobe shifts run 6 am‑3 pm and 2:45‑11:45 pm. The job requires a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment with no weekend break guarantee.
Reports to the Live Site Wardrobe Manager and is managed day‑to‑day by Wardrobe Deputies.
Key Responsibilities
- Dress performers precisely and compassionately.
- Identify and conduct necessary maintenance during show dates, keep a detailed log of repairs and notify Deputies or Manager.
