Job Description
· Prepare goods for storage or shipment, labelling, tagging, and categorizing items according to storage requirements, product type, and destination.
· Assist in organizing warehouse space, arranging shelves, racks, and storage areas to optimize space utilization, accessibility, and efficiency.
· Pick and pack orders for shipment, selecting items from inventory, assembling orders, and preparing them for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of order fulfillment.
· Load and unload trucks, containers, or pallets using manual or powered equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, following safety procedures and handling guidelines.
· Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, sweeping floors, removing debris, and disposing of waste materials, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
