Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for rotating shifts warehouse operatives to join Booker on a permanent contract with 16‑week probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Pick and load goods correctly in accordance with safe standards and work instructions.
- Operate all manual and mechanical handling equipment safely to avoid damage to goods, property or people.
- Perform daily pre‑equipment checks and report any faults immediately to a manager.
- Report dangerous stacking, racking damage, obstructions and other danger or irregularities immediately to a manager.
- Assist with counting stock as required.
- Assist with issuing paperwork and documentation as required.
- Participate in re‑coupe of damaged stock as requested by manager.
- Undergo any training required by the company.
- Perform any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business. ...
