Creates repairs and modifies metal components and structures through welding and metal fabrication techniques, ensuring quality with specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate components for mining machinery and infrastructure.
• Repair and modify equipment parts as needed.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain welding and fabrication tools and equipment.
• Document work activities and report issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• National Certificate in welding.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use fabrication tools.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in challenging conditions.
