Workshop Engineer

The business is expanding with a brand-new, purpose-built workshop in Rotherham, focused on industrial gearbox overhauls and accredited rebuilds. They are seeking an experienced Workshop Engineer to play a key role in the setup and ongoing success of this new facility.

• Carry out full strip-down, inspection, diagnosis, and rebuild of large industrial reduction gearboxes
• Overhaul hydraulic pumps, motors, engines, and related mechanical components
• Work on complex, high-value assemblies requiring precision and strong technical knowledge
• Ensure all rebuild work meets required accreditation and quality standards
• Support workshop setup, workflow planning, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to a strong culture of safety, quality, and engineering excellence
