X-Ray Technologist - PRN
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for using imaging equipment to produce x-ray images of patient's anatomy requested by the physician in order to aid the physicians in surgical cases, diagnosing injuries, diseases or other illnesses. The X-Ray Technologists main priority is to ensure that the patient is comfortable and safe throughout the image taking process, in accordance with applicable policy and procedure, standard of care, and in accordance of state certification.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates or oversee operation of radiologic or magnetic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes
- Positions patient on examining table and set up and adjust equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area as requested by physician
