Milk Education are working with a primary school in Ashton in Makerfield (WN4) who are seeking a full‑time temporary Year 2 Teaching Assistant to support within the year 2 class.

This Year 2 Teaching Assistant role is starting immediately and will be a temporary, long‑term role until July 2026.

The school is looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and accommodating to the child’s learning needs for this Year 2 Teaching Assistant position. The hours of work are 08:30 am–15:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

This Year 2 Teaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they are doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensuring the child’s needs are being met.
